      The embedded track needs to be suspended, which means that when choosing this type of track, it is necessary to plan well before the ceiling. Like other pre-embedded tracks, it is more troublesome to install grooves on the ceiling and paint the sealing plates.

      Surface-mounted rails and hoisting rails are available with or without ceiling. When there is no suspended ceiling, the ceiling must be slotted and the cable must be operated by a professional electrician.

      In addition, the position of the surface-mounted track is affected by the location of the power cord, and the degree of design freedom is not so high (there are also surface-mounted tracks that can run inside the luminaire, which increases the design freedom to a certain extent), and it is necessary to communicate with the lighting designer in advance whether the installation is available condition.

      The width of the track should be paid attention to, which has a greater impact on the appearance.

      The ordinary magnetic track is 40mm, which looks relatively thick in kind, and is more suitable for commercial spaces, offices and other places. For ordinary families, especially those with low floor heights, it is recommended to buy a 25mm mini track, which looks less depressing and more beautiful.

  ② Transformer

      Since the magnetic lamp is a low-voltage rail, a transformer must be used.

      The transformer is an essential component that many people easily overlook. After all, the main selling point of the mainless lamp is its simple design. How to hide the transformer is a problem.

There are usually 2 types of transformers:

      One is the traditional built-in transformer, which is larger in size, such as 10cm×12cm, 10cm×20cm, etc. Generally, it should be hidden in places such as ceilings, air-conditioning access openings, curtain boxes, etc. Before installing the magnetic lamp, you must first want to hide the transformer.

What if the transformer has nowhere to hide? Consider an integrated transformer. Its appearance is the same as the track, it can be connected to one end of the track, and it looks flawless.

      However, most of the integrated transformers are 40cm wide and can only be used for thick tracks (25mm mini tracks that are more suitable for families cannot be used). Moreover, the height of transformers of different wattages may be different. For perfectionists, it is necessary to clearly adapt the size.
